Introducing the new Resource Central

Resource Central has been a staple of the Healthcare IT News website since 2005. Offering readers specialized content in the form of White Papers, Web Seminars, Videos, Podcasts and Research, Resource Central has undergone many looks since its inception. We're now happy to unveil a new Resource Central for 2010 and beyond, customized for easier navigation and one-click access to the same great content.

The first thing you’ll notice about the new Resource Central is the list of topics on the main page. From <a href="/directory/american-recovery-and-reinvestment-act-arra" target="_blank" class="directory-item-link">ARRA to Telehealth, all resources can be browsed according to the topics that interest you. These topic lists can be further sorted by resource type, making it easy to find white papers about EHRs or upcoming and on-demand Web seminars on document management.

On the main homepage of Resource Central, you can stay updated on the new content we’re adding each week. The “Recently Added” tab allows you to browse resources in order of recency, while the “Most Popular” tab shows the resources that have had the most views. You can further sort these lists by resource type – for example bringing up a list of the most popular Web Seminars.

Another cornerstone of the new Resource Central is one-click access to your favorite resource content. The first time you access a resource, you may be asked to provide “business card” information including your name and job function. Once you enter this information, it will be saved on the site, allowing you to access future resources without entering the information again. You’ll need to have cookies enabled to take advantage of this feature. We think you’ll find it makes accessing most resource content much quicker and easier.
